Parent Cue App Reviews

I already purchased this app but now after a recent update, I cannot get to the elementary content. I receive a notification that I dont have access to that content with a prompt to pay another $1.99 to get access?? I dont think that should happen. Please fix!!!

Very bummed that I cant get to the elementary part of the app. Keeps asking me to purchase, but I already have.

Im a family pastor and we are using the orange curriculum for birth through 5th grade. The app has had its ups and downs, but the latest fix does allow easy switching back and forth between preschool and elementary curriculum. The push notifications are a helpful reminder and my two older boys (5.5 and 3 years) love watching the weekly video with their dad. Most parents just need a creative reminder and a helpful suggestion throughout the week and I have found that using this app has been both helpful and convenient. My two suggestions would be for their to be a rolling 5 week curriculum instead of erasing the entire previous month at the beginning of the next month. There are times when it is the end of the month and I would like to go back over some of the content from the previous month and it is no longer available. My other suggestion would be to make the resolution of the videos (ipad) just a bit clearer somehow. They are good, but at times can become pixelated. Other than that, this IS a good resource for parents and I am encouraging all the parents of our kids to download and use the app. When used with the church curriculum this is a fun, creative, and convenient way to connect church and home! Thanks for what you do!

This app is awesome! From drive time to bedtime there are stories that help promote discussion about the things of God between me and my little girl. As a single parent I cant tell you just how useful it is and how thankful I am =) Keep up the great work!

I cant give this app any stars yet because there is no content in here for my 4th grader. Just a few articles for parents, and one music video. I really wanted to love this, but right now it seems half baked and not ready for release. A major Marketing No-No! Never go to market with an incomplete product, and - for the love of Pete! - if you do, dont charge people for it. Yeesh! Please re-invest my $2 into developing this app. Im rooting for you!

Seems like a pre-mature release. There really isnt much on here especially when you have to pay for it. Me and my wife are childrens pastors at about a thousand person church and I wanted to see whether or not to advertise it to the parents instead of passing out weekly devotions that get tossed in the trash. I hope they make it better because we need a solution like this for such a fast paced world. Hope this review helps.

Many of the links do not work. I crashes and shuts down. Have the potential to be a wonderful family app, needs much more work. The worst thing is actually paying for it. This app should be free until its proven ready.

Ill admit, this app ha heaps of problems when I first downloaded it. But that have really stepped it up!! It always has relevant content that lines up with what theyre learning and my toddler loves it! Its awesome that both the elementary and preschool both have content. You used to have to choose which side you wanted and then had to pay again for the other. Apparently they did away with that! Great job fixing it Orange!! Im a believer again!!!

I love this app is full of wonderful information I love it. Despite all the latest reviews, I still purchased it and I havent had one single problem with it. Love it! I love getting the notices that pop up. With life so busy it gives a little reminder. I look to this app for quick ideas when we take off to school and such places. It has inspiring resource that we have all been enjoying as a family! Take a chance is only two bucks.

On its own this app might look like it doesnt have a ton of content, however if used in combination with attending a church that uses the orange curriculum its a big win. its a parent tool its not designed to entertain or teach your child. it gives parents a few key prompts and ideas so they can interact with their child in an intentional way reinforcing what your child heard at church on Sunday. It only gives you what your child is currently learning, so any discussions or activities directly relate to that weeks topic. If I gave this app to my 4th or 5th grader to entertain them on a trip they would not be impressed. But if I happened to look at a few key discussion questions before we left and we had a family conversation on that trip it would be time well spent. I have not personally had crashes or any tech difficulty, I use it on an iPad not sure if that makes a difference

There is no content for middle school or high school. I think that is a critical age for kids and tools to help parents connect should be developed. A missed opportunity.

Well, when I first downloaded this app it was great, the movies went along with the Sunday school lessons, and everything worked. Now, with the addition of two different age groups, one you pay extra for, the app crashes. Meal time doesnt even work anymore. Please fix. I dont mind having to pay for extra features, I just dont want to pay for the extras, when whats included doesnt even work...

Developed to help parents have short "cues" at meals or drive time or bed time to speak into the life of their elementary kids lives to reinforce the learning done using Orange/Rethink materials at church. Drive time often includes a short well done teaching video from thar week as well as a song that the kids are learning that month to reinforce the theme of the month. Meal time has short questions and often a link to a current news video that shows an example of a real person doing what was talked about. Bedtime cues have a story you can read and a couple simple questions. No papers to lose. Just grab your iPhone iPad.

I love finding undiscovered fueling stations and adding them. Rewards are great

Worked when I first paid for it and we enjoyed the drive time on way to school, however now it does not work.

I love the concept, but I dont appreciate paying for something that doesnt really work. No sound for songs and videos. Please fix!

Weve been using this app as our main bible study tool at home for over a year now! Its such a valuable resource and is a tremendous blessing to our whole family! Our 4 boys LOVE this app and look forward to our family devotions time every week!!!

We cannot have too many engaging conversations with our preschool and elementary children. This app equips us with content and encouraging reminders to connect in a meaningful manner.
